Family Handyman: Turn Your Garage into a Screen Room
The Family Handyman Magazine featured Fresh Air Screens in their "Turn Your Garage into a Screen Room" article in the 'New Products' section of their September 2007 Garage Special publication. This magazine was the 5th annual garage special for The Family Handyman magazine series. Here's what the article had to say about Fresh Air Screens' Garage Door Screens product. "We've seen several versions of garage door screens that fit over the opening to keep out bugs, but none with Fresh Air Screens' great prices - $126 for a single garage door opening (9' x 7') and $156 for a double door (16' x 7'). Installation only takes about 15 minutes. Nail the screen along the top (to the outside of the garage door frame so it won't interfere with the garage door), then use the Velcro straps to adhere the frame along the sides and attach the screen. Slide a 3/4" plastic pipe or conduit (not included) through the pocket at the bottom of the screen to keep it grid.
When you want the screen up, simply detach the sides, roll them up, and then fasten the straps along the top. It's a practical, inexpensive way to work in the garage without battling insects. Buy the screens at Menards (in the Midwest) or directly from Fresh Air Screens website."
